高橋幸宏8年ぶりのソロライブとなる東京・大阪での『Something Blue』のために来日するSTEVE JANSEN、HER SPACE HOLIDAY、そして高橋幸宏による仙台だけの特別なライブ。先の公演とはまったく異なった内容・構成で、おなじみの楽曲に加え、その日限りのセッションによる新曲も予定。
YUKIHIRO TAKAHASHI, STEVE JANSEN and HER SPACE HOLIDAY special live in Sendai. YUKIHIRO’s solo live, “Something Blue”, after an absence of 8 years. STEVE JANSEN and HER SPACE HOLIDAY come to Japan to join his live. The live in Sendai will be completely different from “Something Blue” in Tokyo and Osaka. A New tune by a live session as well as familiar numbers will be presented.
高橋幸宏［Yukihiro Takahashi］
1952年生まれ。1972年に加藤和彦率いる サディスティック・ミカ・バンドに参加。その後、サディスティックスを経て、1978年に細野晴臣、坂本龍一とともにイエローマジックオーケストラ［Y.M.O］を結成。さらに、ムーンライダースの鈴木慶一とのユニットTHE BEATNIKS、スティーブ・ジャンセンとのユニットPULSEとしてもアルバムを発表。また、ファッション・デザイナーの山本耀司のコレクションのための音楽や、映画音楽でも活躍。2001年からは細野晴臣とSKETCH SHOWを結成し、国内外でライブを行う。また、ソロ活動では、2006年に7年ぶりの新作となる『BLUE MOON BLUE』で21枚のアルバムをリリース。
Born in 1952. Takahashi participated in "The Sadistic Mika Band" led by Kazuhiko Kato in 1972. After that Takahashi joined Haruomi Hosono and Ryuichi Sakamoto to form "Yellow Magic Orchestra(Y.M.O)" in 1978. Several Albums were released as "THE BEATNIKS" with Keiichi Suzuki and "PULSE" with Steve Jansen. Takahashi is also active in the field of music for a film and collections of Yoji Yamamoto, a fashion designer. Since 2001 he has formed "SKETCH SHOW" with Haruomi Hosono and performs lives at home and overseas. Including a new album as his solo work "Blue Moon Blue", 21 solo Albums were released so far.
Steve Jansen［スティーヴ・ジャンセン］
1959年生まれ。1977年にデヴィッド・シルヴィアンらとJAPANを結成し“ニューウェーブ”の雄として世界的な人気を博す。その後も演奏／作曲／プロデュース／サウンドデザイン／プログラミングなど幅広い活躍を見せ、坂本龍一や高橋幸宏など日本のミュージシャンとの交流も深い。シルヴィアンとともに設立したレーベルSamadhiSoundから「Snow Borne Sorrow」［Nine Horses 2005］を発表。ポップとオルタナティブの接点で活動を行う希有なミュージシャンである。
Born in 1959, Jansen and David Sylvian formed "Japan" and are caught on all over the world as a leading "New Wave". He is active in a performer/composer/producer/programming and works in collaboration with Japanese musician Ryuichi Sakamoto, Yukihiro Takahashi etc. "Snow Borne Sorrow"(Nine Horses, 2006) was out on the SamadhiSound label that was established by Jansen and Sylvian. Jansen is a unique musician who acts in a contact point of pop and Alternative music.
HER SPACE HOLIDAY［ハー・スペース・ホリデイ］
Marc Bianchi［マーク・ビアンキ］が、1996年からスタートさせたソロ・ユニット。2000年にニューヨークのレーベル、タイガー・スタイルから3rdアルバム『Home Is Where You Hang Yourself』をリリース。2001年には4thアルバム『Manic Expressive』をリリースし、夢見心地なメロディーとオーケストレーションやエレクトロニカ・テイストを大胆に導入したサウンドで脚光を浴びる。2004年に5thアルバム『The Young Machines』が日本でもリリースされて以来、我が国でも注目が高まり、2005年には『THE PAST PRESENTS THE FUTURE』が日本先行発売された。
A solo unit started by Marc Bianchi in 1996. 3rd album “Home Is Where You Hang Yourself(2000)” was out on the Tiger Style label in New York. HER SPACE HOLIDAY (HSH) released 4th album “Manic Expressive” and moved into the limelight with the sound incorporated ecstatic melody, orchestration and electronica. Since released 5th album “The Young Machines(2004)”, HSH get increased attention in Japan. In 2005 “THE PAST PRESENTS THE FUTURE” was released in Japan ahead of other countries.
